This policy explains how Shaula Consulting uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and is read together with our Privacy Policy (UAE PDPL). Last updated 26 August 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage, which stores small amounts of data in your browser rather than sending it to a server. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary. Required for the site and our secure client KYC portal to function: keeping you signed in, protecting forms and sign-in against abuse, and remembering your cookie choice. These are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure service and cannot be switched off through the banner.
Functional. Remember preferences such as dismissing the install-as-app prompt, so we do not show it repeatedly.
Analytics. Used only if you select "Accept all", to understand aggregated usage such as which pages are visited. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Third parties
Our authentication, hosting, and web-font providers may set strictly necessary cookies or receive your IP address when serving content. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use the data for their own advertising.
4. How long they last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and local storage entries, including your cookie choice and sign-in session, last from a few hours up to twelve months depending on their purpose, unless you clear them earlier.
5. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser, which will make the banner appear again on your next visit.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in to the secure client KYC portal.
6. Personal data and your rights
Where cookie data identifies you, it is personal data processed in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Your rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection, and how to exercise them, are set out in our Privacy Policy.

We may update this policy as our site and services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
